Visit the Villages:
Indian villages are well known all throughout the world. People especially visit the villages based in India and like to experience the rural way of living. There are several places which you could visit for seeing the village life. For outdoor adventures one could visit the Blueberry Trails, which are mainly in Maharashtra, for Grass route journeys you could visit Orissa, you can experience eco rural tourism, EcoSphere Spiti, and the blue Yonder too. The cities in India are quite expensive however these villages would be quite reasonable too!
Avoid travelling during the peak tourist season:
If you want to do sightseeing in India then the best time to do is by not travelling in the peak tourist season. This way you will be able to save a lot of money also. During the peak season time an average hotel stay will be quite expensive as compared to visiting the place in the off season time. However while travelling to some places please ensure that you visit in the appropriate season. The prices also increase during the peak season time like during the Indian festivals like Dusherra, Diwali, Christmas and the New Year.
Make your flight arrangements in advance
It would be a wise decision to plan your flights well in advance. We understand that this may not be possible at all times but as far as possible one should make travel arrangements as soon as possible. Most of the domestic airlines in India start offering discounts for advance bookings. If you make flight bookings just a few days prior to your trip, then the tickets might be very exorbitant too!

We all understand that travelling during the day is a little inconvenient to and the entire is also wasted, however if you are looking to save some money while travelling then you must in for a midday flight as these are cheaper as compared to the morning ones or later in the evening. The business travelers prefer to travel in the early morning and late night flights, because of which the price tend to rise.
