Adhai Din ka Jhonpra is actually a mosque situated at Ajmer, Rajasthan. Which was originally built by Muhammad Ghori in the year 1198. As per the legends it is believed that the mosque showcases the uniqueness of the Indo-Islamic architecture was built in only 2.5 days, which was quite unbelievable. This place was originally a place of worship meant for Hindu and Jains and later on a mosque was built out of the ruins of the temple. As you visit the mosque one can still see the walls of the mosque have been engraved with verses from the holy Quran. One can even see the main gate which has inscriptions in Sanskrit language. People still believe that the pillars which form the foundation of the mosque are from the remains of temples which once existed here. This place clearly demonstrates the perfect amalgamation of different religions which is clearly visible here.
