If you go on the road towards Girnar Hill from Junagadh, you will find a white colored building. This building has something special in it. Emperor Ashoka inscribed 14 edicts in Brahmi script of the Pali language around 2250 years back. These edicts give noble message to all the humanity. It tells to stay kind to women and animals, to give donations to the beggars, and love all forms of life. There are many other philosophical messages that are inspired from the life of Ashoka. There are translations also written, in the languages like Hindi, Gujarati, and English. This place can be visited at 8am-1pm & 2-6pm at all days of week. The entry fee is Rs. 5/- for Indian and Rs. 100/- for foreigner.
