The Baba Ramdev temple is also known as Adhar Shila temple. The temple symbolizes divine duty and devotion. The temple is located on the edge of a sandstone hill which is known as the Masuria hills. These are located between the Nagori Gate and Jalori Gate in the city of Jodhpur.
The main attraction of this temple lies in its distant past. There are many legends and stories associated behind this temple. The temple is visited by many tourists, all throughout the year. One can even find a small rock which is located outside the temple and one can see words inscribed “Enter at your own risk”, this itself looks so tempting that one is curious to find out what is there inside the temple.
A lot many numbers of people visit this temple especially during the 'Bhadva' season or during August-September. But as one climbed up and realized that the danger was worth the spectacular views which one could see from the top. The temple is also visited by many adventure enthusiasts. This is entry fee for visiting the temple. The temple is open on all days from 5:00 AM - 12:00 PM and then from 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
