India is a huge country with varied seasons. Unlike quite a few countries which only have one or two season there are four different types of season like spring, summer, autumn and winter. The weather in India changes every quarter and one can enjoy the weather all-round the year. If you want to experience the cold waves then one could head towards the north, if you want to enjoy the beaches then visit south, there are plenty of choices available for you.People generally feel and believe that best time to visit Indian is during winters when is weather is quite pleasant and comparatively cooler too

Summer (March to May)

The summers in India are really bad and it becomes quite hot and the temperature goes as high as 50 degrees Celsius, in some places. In the month of May the monsoon starts to set in and generally approached the southern part of the country and the humidity levels go up and one can see dust and thunderstorms.

Summers are the perfect time for visiting the hills and hill stations. One can even plan a visit to a wildlife sanctuary and often see animals relaxing in their natural environment.

Monsoon (June to October)

There are two monsoons in India, the southwest monsoon, which is the main one and comes in early June and the northeast monsoon which comes on the eastern coast during November and December. This is quite short but very strong. The weather is quite humid and muddy also.

The monsoon is quite heavy and is difficult to travel during this time.  The trains and flights also get affected many a times and often come to a halt. One can choose to visit Ladakh in North India and the roads are blocked due to heavy snow which opens only in June.

RajasthanWinter season-November to February)

In winters the days are quite warm however the nights are quite chilly. Mostly people prefer to visit the beaches rather than visiting the hills. One can enjoy exploring the traditional Indian state of Rajasthan during the winter season.
