TheKullu valley is popular for its scenic beauty and Bhuntar is undoubtedly one such place. Bhuntar also has a domestic airport which means the travelers going to Kullu or Manali or any nearby tourist places have to get down here and stay if they want to. There are daily flights from New Delhi to Bhuntar and therefore travel is not an issue. Those who want to go by road; they need to take Chandigarh-Manali Highway to reach here. If you are looking to go towards Manikaran or Parvati valley, Bhuntar again is the place from where you start your journey. This is a small town and is located at the bank of Beas River. The place has aesthetic beauty and appeals to many. There is also a small market along with a number of hotels and there is a SBI ATM, in case you need to withdraw cash. Tourists generally prefer not to stay at Bhuntar and often cross this on their way to Kullu, which is only 10 kms away from Bhuntar. This place can be visited in between Oct-May months.
