Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary is based in the Ponda Taluka in the Indian state of Goa. This is located in the foothills of the Western Ghats, which is almost 52 kms away from Panaji.
The park is spread in an area of 8 km2. This wildlife sanctuary is indeed a very well known tourist attraction. A lot many number of animals can be seen, which commonly include the Indian Bison, Indian Peafowl, Sambhar Deer, Indian Bison, Malabar Giant Squirrel, and many varieties of snake. There are many Leopards also which can be commonly seen in the wildlife park. You will also notice cobras and dancing bears which reside here along with their trainers. There are many elephants also which offer a rider to the visitors here. There is a Botanical garden also located along with a zoo inside the wildlife sanctuary.
There is an admission fee of Rs 5/- and if wish to click pictures then Rs 25/- has to be paid as a fee and Rs 100/- for video photography has to be paid. The visiting hours are from 9:00am to 5:00 pm from Fri to Wednesday.
