Chandigarh has always aroused divisive opinions among political critics for possessing a bipolar nature because of its radical design that was given by the famous architect Le Corbusier. It boasts of large departmental stores, posh hotels and savvy cafes among several fancy restaurants and outlets meant for the urban elite. These structures lie on both sides of the amazingly clean roads and the city has kept in mind the likings of the new generation who are influenced by the Western culture.
There are a lot of people who may not like the urbanized culture that is present here but a lot of people are happy to see the pollution free and green city that it has become. Anyone who drives into this city is surely going to be impressed by what they see and it surely attracts them. It has everything the youth of today can ask for from wonderful sights to glamorous nightlife but minus the chaos of the so called metropolitan cities. It is a Union Territory that comes under the control of the central government and also holds the distinction of the being the only city that is a capital of two states: Punjab and Haryana.
