The City palace is located in the city of Kota in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The architecture of the palace is a blend of the Rasjasthani as well as Mughal style of art. This monument symbolizes the royal past of the city of Kota. Upon visiting the City Palace and Fort complex, in which one can see the various layers of legacy which were added by all the successive rulers of the Kota city. There are numerous parts of the palace which can be accessed by the general public some of these are Kunwarbade ka Mahal, Hawa Mahal, Jaleb Chowk and Bada Mahal and Raj Mahal. One can see the intricate work which is displayed in the pillars, mirrors, and also on the murals which even showcase some hunting scenes. You could also visit the museum which has been named as the Rao Madho Singh Museum. One can see very interesting sculptures, Kota painting, armor, photographs and arms. There is an attractive garden around the palace adds the beauty of the Palace. There is an entry fee of Rs 20. The city palace can be visited from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM, on all days of the week.
