India Art Fair

The Indian Art fair is held in the NSIC Exhibition Grounds, in Okhla in New Delhi. This is the 6th edition of India Art Fair which will showcase the specially designed art projects. There is an exciting collection of several international and Indian exhibiting art galleries. The festival will be held from the 30th January till the 2nd of February 2014.

Sufi Sutra International Sufi Music Festival

This festival is meant for featuring the top Sufi and traditional folk musicians which come from the different countries, all over the world. This festival is held in Mohar Kunj, Kolkata.Music workshops are conducted the entire day, along with the free concerts and exhibitions which are held in the evening. The festival will be held from 31st January to -February 2, 2014. Workshops 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Concerts: 6 p.m. to 10 p.m

There is no fee for entry, but you need to carry passes. 

Kila Raipur Rural Olympics

This is a sports festival which is held since the last six decades. People from all over the globe come to participate in this sports festival. Animals like camels, Bullocks, dogs, mules to name a few which compete in a very professional manner here. The main attraction is the bullock cart race is the main attraction. There is no entry fee. The festival is will be held from the 31st of January till the 2nd of February. This is held in a place which is 15 kilometers south of Ludhiana, in the Punjab.

Indian Derby Weekend

This is one of the biggest events on the Mumbai social life, held in the Mahalaxmi Race Course, Mumbai. .One can see almost 25,000 people attending this festival. You could enjoy International aerial ballet, Horse racing, and professional salsa dancing, along with live bands playing good music. The festival is held in the first weekend in February, each year. This year it will be from February 1-2, 2014. 

SulaFest

The SulaFest is a gourmet music festival. One can see a blend of mix of wine, music, drinks, shopping, food and fashion and shopping. The well-known brand, VERO MODA plans to launch their Denim along with a fashion show. The event will be held from 1st-2nd February 2014, in the Sula Vineyard amphitheater, Nashik, Maharashtra. The entry fee is Rs 2,700 rupees, per ticket.

Kala Ghoda Arts Festival

This is a nine day extravaganza which is held in an open air exhibition space and stage show. The festival includes seminars, arts and crafts, exhibitions, dance, music and special events for children. There is no charge. The festival will be held from 1st –9th February, 2014, the Kala Ghoda Arts Precinct, Fort, Mumbai.

Surajkund Crafts Mela

This is conducted by the Haryana Tourism. One can see a very fine display of handicrafts, handloom, and Indian cuisine. One can also enjoy cultural programs besides an amusement zone for kids. The festival is held every year from the 1st- 14th February in the Surajkund, Haryana.

Neralu: Bangalore Tree Festival

Neralu is a festival, held in Bangalore, in the Cubbon Park. The event aims at bringing people together and appreciating the city's trees and natural heritage. One can also enjoy activities like nature workshops and walks, interactive storytelling events and photography to name a few. This will be held from 8th-9th February 2014.

Shekhawati Festival

The Shekhawati region is well known for old and huge Havellis, or mansions. One can enjoy camel and jeep safaris, and even visit farms besides many Cultural programs, and fireworks too. The festival will be held from the 8th- 10th February 2014 in Nawalgarh.

Jaisalmer Desert Festival

This festival is held in Jaisalmer,Rajasthan. You can see the lovely sandstone city of Jaisalmer. One can see a parade of locals and camel races and polo matches, turban tying competitions. The festival will be held from the 12th -14th February 12-14, 2014.

Ragasthan

Ragasthan is a music festival which is known for its craziness! The music festival is held in the sand dunes near the city of Jaisalmer, in Rajasthan. The festival takes place the entire night. You can enjoy pop, rock, and classical, alternative, world, electronic and experimental music. The festival is being held from 13-16 of February, 2014. The tickets are priced between 7,400-11,500 rupees, which includes too!
