The Dhawa Doli Wildlife Sanctuary is considered to be a very well known natural spot located close to the city of Jodhpur. This sanctuary is located on the outskirts of Jodhpur city and has a large variety of flora and fauna, which can even be seen for the gates of the Thar Desert. The wildlife sanctuary is located at a distance of approximately 40 kilometres to the south of city of Jodhpur. The sanctuary is full with a variety of wildlife. One can see Nilgai, blackbucks, desert fox, Cheetal, Desert rats, desert fox, S?mbhar, partridges, deer and cranes to name a few animals. The best time to visit this wildlife sanctuary is during the early dawn or at dusk, as the view is simply unbeatable. All the Nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts are taken aback when they visit the place and see the rich biodiversity on display here.
You can receive more information about the Dhawa Doli wildlife sanctuary from the forest officers who is available in one of the rural huts which outline the property. Accommodation is no longer available here. You are allowed to carry refreshments and do remember to carry some warm clothes as it gets a little cold in morning and evenings.
