The Don Bosco Museum of Indigenous Cultures is a very professional museum in Shillong and is visited by both the Indians as well as by the foreigners. There is an astonishing collection of the tribal artifacts, which are very well laid and demonstrate the work of the Christian missionaries. The museum is open from 9:30am to 5:30pm. The building of the museum is in the shape of a hexagon which is very impressive and is considered to be of a symbolic nature. There are seven storeys in this museum which represents the seven states in North East India. Many trips and tours are conducted of this museum. There is a fee charge of Rs 90 for Indians and Rs 150 from foreigners.Indian Students have to pay Rs 30 and foreign students have to pay Rs 50 for visiting this museum.
