The Dooars valley is a very impressive town which is located in the Jalpaiguri district in the Indian state of West Bengal. As the name suggests this place is alike a passage for the whole of the northeastern region of India, as it is located in the Indo-Bhutan border. One can virtually see the rivers of Jaldhaka, Teesta, Raidak and Torsa along with their tributaries. The major tourist attraction of the Dooars Valley is the wildlife sanctuaries based here. The most well known sanctuary is the Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary. One can see the one-horned Rhino, which is the most famous animal in this region. One can also see animals like Leopard, wild boars, peacocks, spotted deer, and bison too in this sanctuary apart from a huge variety of reptiles.
The other sanctuaries located in the Dooars valley are the de the Gorumara National Park , Chapramari Wildlife Sanctuary and the Buxa Tiger Project.
