The Dudhsagar falls are located on the border of the state of Karnataka towards the eastern border of the state. The waterfall is located on the Mandovi River in Goa, in the Bhagwan Mahavir Wild Life Sanctuary, in Collem in South Goa in the western. This waterfall is quite well known and also considered as the fifth highest waterfall in India, and 227th in the world, as they are almost 1017 feet high.
The Dudhsagar falls are a very prominent tourist attraction in Goa, and people especially go out of the way to see this beautiful waterfall. Reaching this place is quite a hassle as the cabs charge quite a lot and is quite expensive. You could take a train or a taxi to the waterfalls and that would cost you almost Rs 1800 for five people. There are many different routes that one can take to reach the Dudhsagar waterfall like the Kuveshi-Dudhsagar, Kulem route, castle rock route or the transport and hike route.
