Fateh Prakash Palace Museum is situated inside the palace of Rana Fateh Singh in Chittorgarh. The palace has a huge collection of coins, sculptures, weapons and other artefacts prevalent during the glorious Rajput regime. These items of historical importance can provide a wonderful experience to history connoisseur. To understand the various section of this Palace museum, it is advisable to hire a local guide. The guide can provide you with many interesting stories about the place and also signify the worthiness of various artefacts at display. The Palace also has a local school running in the premises along with the Museum. Though it is not in a very good condition, but still the museum offers a lot of insight into the Rajput history. One important point to keep in mind while visiting the museum is that it is closed on Fridays. So plan the visit accordingly on any other day as the museum remains open from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm and charges a nominal entry fee of Rs.10/- per person.
