The Gulab Bagh was originally built during 1850s by Maharana Sajjan Singh. This is even today known as the largest garden in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The garden is spread in an area of about a hundred acres. The place is quite popular for the delicate rose beds which are organized. The garden is visited by adults and children. Children like to visit the amusement park and zoo here, while you can enjoy spending some quiet moments in the Victoria Hall Museum and Library.
The time to visit the Gulab Garden is during the early mornings and late evenings and one can even enjoy a walk in this beautiful and well maintained garden. The Garden is located near the City Palace. There is an entry fee of Rs 25 per person for Adults.
