Completely constructed with glass, the Jain Glass temple is a popular attraction of Kanpur. Complete with ornate and intricate designs in mirror, glass and enamel, this temple is built in the old architectural style but with a new medium. Glass and mirrors cover every area of this temple from the floors to the ceilings. Jain scriptures find themselves depicted in the glass paintings and the stained glass murals.
Visited by both the Jain community and others, the temple is dedicated to Lord Mahavira. A large pedestal with the statues of Lord Mahavira and the twenty three Tirthankaras adorn the temple.
