This is a very interesting place to be in as here you could find some interesting pieces of art and culture which will certainly catch your attention. There are very interesting paintings and handicrafts which will help you get a sneak peek into the Goan culture. There are paintings of some well known artists like Chavda, Paritosh Sen, Gopal Adivarekar, Hebber, Laxman Pai and Bendre. The Building architecture was designed by well known architect Charles Correa and is true masterpiece in itself. There are lush gardens, which have been done up with landscaped gardens and elegant benches have been placed in these well manicured gardens.
Most of us are unaware that the International Film Festival of India is hosted by the Kala Academy. There are 3 to 4 screenings which take places every day during the festival. If you are fond of books then you could even visit the exclusive library which has a huge variety of musical spools, transparencies, reference material and books in its collection.
