Located on the very top of the Malabar Hills is the Kamala Nehru Park which offers a lovely view of the Chowpatty beach as well as the Marine Drive. It was named after the wife of the first prime minister of India, Kamala Nehru and it offers a variety of entertainment options. A lot of school children visit this place and there is a huge shoe inside the park which was inspired by the story of the old woman that lived in a shoe. For nature lovers in Mumbai there are few places better to visit than the Park that was built way back in the year 1952.
Not many places offer a better view of the city and the sun setting down into the Arabian Sea waters. It has a huge variety of plants and trees that would surely interest nature lovers. Very close to this park lie the Hanging Gardens which are another popular tourist spot.
