The Kanak Vrindavan Mahal is located in Jaipur slightly on the outskirts and was originally built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, when Amer was the capital city of his empire. This temple was considered to be a very sacred and a pious spot and was essentially a place where the Ashwamedha Yagna was performed with a lot of dedication. Even today one can see several temples in close proximity to the Kanak Vrindavan Mahal and all these temples have been here for almost 3 centuries.
Today one can see many smaller temples out of which the most famous ones are those of Natwarji and Govind Deoji along with many waterfalls and fountains and beautifully maintained lawns, with many pretty flower pots which are lined up in several rows together with pillars made out of marble.
