Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, Located on Kumarakrupa Road, is a visual arts gallery and a premier art institution of Bengaluru. Its galleries put on display a wide collection of Indian and international contemporary works of art. The range of its permanent displays encompasses splendid gold-leaf works of Mysore-style paintings and pieces of tribal and folk art, brought from all across Asia. Russian master Nicholas Roerich, who painted stunning images of the Himalayas, and his son Svetoslav has their works featured in a dedicated section of art gallery. The art gallery remains open through 10.30am to 7pm. The entry will cost you Rs.10.
