Khajjiar is also known as the Mini Switzerland of India. This beautiful and very small hill station is located in the Chamba district in the hills of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. This hill station is located on a small plateau which has a small stream-fed lake in the middle which is covered with weeds. The view from the hill station is simply mesmerizing and is surrounded by green meadows and thick dense forests. Khajjiar is located at an altitude of 6,500 feet (2,000 m) above sea level and is located in the foothills of the Dhauladhar ranges of the Western Himalayas.
