Kinnaur is a beautiful district in the old Himachal. There are a number of places where you can visit and enjoy in the lap of nature. The district is well connected from Shimlaand you can reach there through buses or other vehicles. However the valley gets disconnected during the winters due to the heavy snowfalls and sometimes even in rainy season. Kinnauri people or Kinner people are hard working and grow apples to make their living. This is the most common profession here.

The folk culture in Kinnaur is quite rich and you will enjoy the traditional ceremonies of the tribes if you visit there. There are a number of places to visit in Kinnaur; most of them are situated on the banks of Sutlej River. Sangla valley is well known for its tourist attraction. Kinnaur also connects Shimla toSpiti valley and therefore travelers going to Spiti spend some time here too.
