Last minute Lisbon

I would suggest that, you should try take a taxi to the Royal Palace at Queluz, only about 15 minutes from central Lisbon, a very interesting and historical locale, with gardens by the landscaper of Versailles. Try to reserve lunch at the kitchens of the palace, now a restaurant called the "Cozinha Velha", which, the last time we were there, was excellent.
Of course, you shouldn`t miss a night of beautiful and unique Portuguese fado. There are many fine clubs but if I had to choose one or two as an introduction to fado and the
fado houses, I would probably suggest "Senhor Vinho" or Parreirinha de Alfama because of the quality of the singers and musicians, and the quality and consistency of the
