Mansagar Lake—a lovely manmade lake, dates back to over 400 years old. Originally built to store and serve water to the population of the city, this beautiful lake is now home to one of the most beautiful palaces in the world—the Jal Mahal of Jaipur. This is one of the first lakes of its kind and has been ecologically revived. It now boasts of a state of the art and fully functional storm water treatment and a well-conceived management system.
