This well known shrine is dedicated to Goddess Masani, and is located in Gurgaon. People believe that anyone who visits this temple with small pox can get cured after visiting this shrine, no wonder thousands of devotees visit this temple with their kids who suffer from smallpox.
There is a legend that associated with this temple that a long time ago there was a Masani temple located in Keshopur village. One day the Goddess decided to leave the village and one of the native of the village named Singha dreamt about it. It was Singha who actually built this temple in Gurgaon.
There is a fair which is held every year in the month of April and Mar in this Masani temple. There are many activities which take place in this fair, like there are various stalls which sell a lot many products and there are dances, dramas, folk music, folk recitals, and numerous cultural functions also held here. Many sadhus and sanyasis also visit the fair from all parts of the country. This fair symbolizes the colorful and the beautiful yet rural culture of the State of Haryana.
