The national zoological park is located southern parts of the city, Delhi and as the number suggests there is a huge variety of different species of animals. The park aims at preserving the rich national biodiversity of the country along with the wild fauna and also to provide protection to the endangered species of the country. The administration at the park also makes a conscious effort in spreading awareness about the ecological importance of these species. The national park also promotes and facilitates the inbreeding entirely for preserving and conserving the species of all mammals. The national park becomes a rescuer for all the wild species as many of these animals are even brought to this place for residing here too.
Quite a few numbers of researches have been conducted here for studying these species and their conservation methods which have been specially adopted.
