The NTR garden, Hyderabad is named after the former chief minister of the state of Andhra Pradesh, Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao. One can also see a memorial which was erected in the loving memory of N.T. Rama Rao. This small urban park is located very closely to the Hussain Sagar Lake. The garden is also located very closely to the Lumbini garden and the Necklace road.
The NTR is primarily taken care of by the Buddha Purnima Project Authorities. The government spent almost 40 acres for developing the park. This garden offers a quiet and serene surrounding. The gardens have been maintained very nicely and one can see blooming flowers, trees and shrubs. If you really want to relax and enjoy a calm day, then this garden is the right place for you.
While visiting the NTR garden during the spring and the summer season one can see the beautiful flowers in full bloom. A beautiful cascading waterfall can also been seen and it was installed in the gardens. Many people come to visit this much attractive waterfall during the evening hours. There is a visitor's train and a souvenir complex also located within the premises of the NTR garden. One can find a few good restaurants here too which serve delicious food.
