The state museum is located on the Lewis Road in Bhubaneswar. This museum has a very rare collection of the traditional and folk musical instruments, rare palm-leaf manuscripts which date back to the Bronze Age tools, and a very fine collection of the armoury along with a fascinating display of Orissan tribal anthropology.
There is an amazing collection of the Jain and Buddhist sculptures, which has been put on display in the museum in a chronological order. The state museum has a collection of some of the very important antiquities. T
