Peacock Gate is one of these beautiful gates that lead you into the inner courtyard and allow you to access the charming designs of the Chandra Mahal. The Peacock Gate is ornately decorated with pictures/motifs of peacocks and aptly represents the Fall/autumn season. It is extremely colorful and beautiful and boasts of various hues of green and blue. Its vibrant colors and lively nature enthrall one and all is definitely worth a look. It is believed that in the days gone by, musicians and performers would sit in the balconies of this gate and wow spectators with their skills. Pritam Niwas Chowk has also found credit in the various Bollywood movies and is noted for its beautiful filming of song scenes and colorful dance sequences.
