Peer Baba Dargah renowned for the religious harmony, is situated at Satwari area of Jammu near the Airport and is dedicated to the famous Islam saint Peer Budhan Ali Shah. The great Islam saint apparently lived 500 years of his life consuming nothing but milk. Peer Baba befriended the tenth guru of Sikhs, Guru Gobind Singh, and also Ghareeb Nath and Ajaib Dev who were renowned for their magical powers. Hence, the Dargah is visited by a number of devotees irrespective of all religions on Thursdays. People offer chaddars and flowers at the dargah to seek divine blessings. It is said that the shrine protects the people of the Jammu city from mishaps and evil spirits.
Gurudwara Tali Sahib (Talab Tillo) is the place where the Guru Sahibs stayed during their visit to Jammu city. The Sikh devotees hold that once Guru Gobind Ji came to visit the Pir. The goat and lion of Pir Baba wished him to send them to the other world along with the Pir Baba. Their wish was granted and the courtyard has the graves of the goat and the lion. It is also believed that the original grave of Pir Baba is in Kiratpur where he was buried according to his wish.
