The Prachina museum is located in a quiet corner of the Junagarh Fort, in the city of Bikaner, in Rajasthan. If you really would like to know the true meaning of the word aristocracy, then this is an appropriate place to be visited. One can have a look at the fine china cups the Maharajas drank tea in and also get to see the finery which their queens once wore. You can see everything right from the carpets to jewellery and photographs of royals.
One can see all the items which symbolize all the magnificience and the place is visiting at least once. One can also get a henna design done up here by a henna artist who sits near the entrance to the museum. There is an entry fee of 10 per person for Indians and Rs 25 per person for Foreigners and Rs 5 per person for Childrenand Students and Rs 20 for Still Camera. The museum can be visited on all days of the week from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
