Erected in 1851, Reis Magos Fort (Goa) rests on a hill. You have to walk through a ramp and two narrow staircases to reach this wonderful laterite structure that is based on typical Portuguese architecture. During the 17th and 18th century, the fort was a home to dignitaries from neighboring nations including Lisbon. With its beautiful central courtyard, the skyrocketing towers and the narrow staircases leading to Mandovi River, Reis Magos Fort is a treat to watch.
