The Santhigiri Ashram is located in the city of Trivandrum. This ashram was originally founded by Navajyothisree Karunakara Guru. The place is well known as a Social and Scientific Research Organization which is maintained by the Government of India. A lot many numbers of followers of the Karunakara Guru visit this ashram on a regular basis. Upon visiting the ashram one can see a beautiful monument which is placed in the complex of the ashram, which is known as Parnasala.
This monument is in the shape of a blooming lotus and this is also built with white Makrana marble. The ambiance is extremely peaceful and is visited by many tourists all throughout the year. One can even learn and practice Yoga here. There is no entry fee for visiting the ashram. The ashram can be visited on all the days in a week from 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM. One can see the ashram in 2 hours.
