The museum is located in Ahmedabad and is opened on all days except Mondays (10:30 AM - 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM - 5:30 PM) and attracts a number of people from India and abroad for the variety of art work that it displays. From the Gujarati folk culture to the wooden and metal work and the textiles that are there in the museum, each one is work of great effort. If you buy the ticket for the museum, there is an included ticket for Kalpana MangaldasMuseum where you will find the festival masks from all over India.
It is set in the beautiful peacock dotted grounds of the Shreyas Foundation. The place is easily approachable via auto rickshaw and doesn’t cost much too. You need to keep in mind that the photos are not allowed here. The entry fee is Rs. 10 per person (Adults), Rs. 7 per person (Children) and Rs. 90 per person (Foreigners).
