Solang Valley is a valley which is located close to the Kullu Valley in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The place derived its name from a combination of words- Solang, which refers to a nearby village and Nullah which means a water stream. People visit this place especially for adventure sports like Zorbing, paragliding, parachuting and skating. This is also a place well know as a Ski resort. During the winter months, when the snow melts, Ski is then replaced with Zorbing, which comprises of a giant ball which has a seating capacity for 2 people and that is rolled down a 200 meter hill.
