The Soni ki Nasiyan was originally built in the year 1865 and is a very well known Jain temple located in the Indian State of Rajasthan. The temple is also known as Lal Mandir and is dedicated to Lord Adinath. Upon visiting this exclusive Jain temple one can see the most exclusive carvings done in gold. The temple has been divided into two parts. In the first part one can pay respect to the lord and as you walk into the corridors you will reach the museum, which is located in the second part of the temple. All the interiors of the museum have been decorated in gold and Belgium stain glass and paintings are in mineral colour. One can quietly sit in the chambers and meditate in the inner chambers from where you can also see the silver balls which hang from the roof. The timings for visiting the temple are from 9:00am to 4:00pm, on all days of the week. There is an entry fee of Rs. 10 for Indians and Rs 25 for foreigners.
