The St. Mary’s church is a Roman Catholic Church located in the city of Gulmarg. The church has been designed in beautiful Victorian style. As you visit this church you will be surely taken back to the British rule. The church was built during the beginning of the 20th century is a beautiful and a classical example of the Victorian architecture. This seems more like a small-countryside chapel which has gray stone walls and the roof of the church is made up of green tiles along with wooden trimmings.
The church can be accessed by trekking. The church is located within the town of Gulmarg and is surrounded by many old hotels, a groove of pine trees and huts, and the entire places looks simply heavenly. The church was renovated in the year 2003, and at the same time the first mass for Christmas was held after a period of 14 years. There is no entry fee for visiting the Church. The church can be visited on all the days of the week from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
