St. Mary’s Churchis also known as the "Mother church of the Deccan" as it is the oldest church in the Deccan region. It is located in the Cantonment Camp Area of Pune city. The church was built in the early 1820s and converted into a holly place in 1825. According to the legend of the church, it was made for British soldiers who were protestant. At present, there are more than 300 families from different cultures are its members. It is a unique place that brings different culture together.
