At first glance what resembles a monastery, surprising turns out to be the St. Theresa Church. Believed to have been built by local craftsmen, the structural architecture of the church is highly influenced by Tibetan design. The interiors are adorned with wall paintings and inscriptions from the Bible. The local influence can once again be seen in the wall paintings that portray Biblical characters that resemble local Buddhist monks.
With a backdrop of the Himalayan ranges, the serene and spiritual surroundings of the church draw a regular throng of believers and tourists alike.
