Sujanpur Tiira is located in Hamirpur district and is a small town as well as a Nagar panchayat in Himachal Pradesh. It lies at an altitude of 1844 feet above sea level and the temperatures found here are extreme ranging between very cold winters and very hot summers. Since it lies along the river Beas the winters here are freezing and temperatures often go down to zero during that time here. But one can experience very low lying clouds during that season which makes for picturesque viewing.
This place is connected by road to all the major cities in the state and lies at about 120 kms from Dharamshala and just 35 kms from Palampur. Buses run to and fro from this city regularly and the closest possible railway station is located at Maranda. It lies within the range of major tourist spots such as Ladakh, Manali, Pathankot and Kangra.
