Top 5 Wedding Destinations in India

Theme weddings are gaining a lot of popularity and many people want to make their wedding day a little special and a memorable one. There are a few places in which you could plan your wedding and enjoy to the fullest.

1. Udaipur

Udaipur is the by far the favorite destination for a theme wedding. The city is well known for Lakes and palaces and for being the most romantic gateways. If you have always wanted to get married in a palace, well this could be just the right place for you. The weddings planned here almost look like a fairytale! Devigarh is another place which is 45 minutes away from Udaipur which could also be considered.

 

2. Goa

Goa is the most popular place to get married in. People love to visit the sun kissed beaches and dream of tying a knot here with their beloved. Although beach weddings require a permit, however that can also be arranged by wedding planners. There are many luxury hotels in Goa, which you could opt for too.

3. Jaipur

Jaipur is a favorite destination and people like to visit the place for getting married in palaces like Raj palace, Jai Mahal and Rambagh palace. The Pink city is not expensive as the other places and one can even host wedding in Havellis.

 

4. Jodhpur

Jodhpur is indeed a very well-known destination wedding choice in Northern India. There are many places in Jodhpur where one can hold a wedding. Some of the well-known places are the Umaid Bhawan palace hotel, Ranbanka Palace and Ajit Bhawan and Mehrangarh Fort, which has hosted many celebrity weddings.

 

5. Kerala

Kerala is the place you would like to choose just in case you are planning a quiet wedding, in a very scenic place. The backdrop could be the banks of a lake or palm trees, where food is served in banana leaves. Simplicity is the other word for Kerala. Many resorts here organize weddings in places like Zuri Kumarakom, near Alleppey. You could also choose elephant themed weddings, where the groom rides on elephant back!
