This site is located on the banks of Kushavati River. This art has survived 20,000-30,000 years and belongs to Upper Paleolithic or Mesolithic peroid..Spread over an area of approx 500 Km. there is a lot see .You can see more than 100 figures of bulls, labyrniths, human figures, deer, antelope,dancing woman,‘trikelions’( a series of concentric circles) carved on laterite rocks.
This site was discovered by Archeologist in 1993 and some its findings can also be found in Archeological Museum in Panaji. So come here and be a part of this mystery called Usgalimal.
