Utorda Beach is among the calm, clean, less crowded and pristine beaches in South Goa. You can spot dolphins, enjoy water sports (water biking and water skiing etc) and simply stroll down the beach for interesting seashells. It’s a small beach that has usual palms and coconut trees lining the shore. Also it is less commercialized as compared to other beaches. A team of lifeguards is there so that you can enjoy a safe swimming session.
Also, you can savor on the great Goan/Konkani food at the shacks present at the beach. You can ask the shacks to serve your food and drink right at your beach chair. Since the beach has been visited by a lot of Russian tourists over past few years, you will find many Russian sign boards in front of the shacks. In addition to shacks, popular bar restaurants such as Zeebop and some 5-star resorts including Park Hyatt, Kenilworth, and Royal Orchid have also established themselves on the beach.
You can either enjoy parasailing, jet skiing and beachside shopping at the beach or go for stroll down the beach feeling sandy white beach under your feet and appreciating the beautiful sunset. As the sun sets, all the shacks start playing music loud that further raises the fun quotient. Utorda is mainly an ideal destination for those who look for peace and serenity which they don’t find at North beaches.
