The Vijay Mandir Mahal is a grand and a beautiful palace which looks as if a ship is all set to sail. The Palace was originally built in the year 1918 by the Maharaja Jai Singh Prabhakar. The palace was constructed close to a lake, by Vijay Sagar. There are 105 opulent rooms within the Vijay Mandir Mahal palace and this is a structure is a symbol of the legacy of Jai Singh. The palace is located at a distance of 10 km from the main city of Alwar.
The palace is truly beautiful and luxurious and one sees the huge palace. The palace has a lush green garden which looks simply superb and adds to this architectural splendor. It is believed that Maharaja Jai Singh built the palace and its ambiance on the lines of a ship which is all set to sail. The best time to visit this property is during the monsoon season when one can enjoy the indescribable of the lake when it is lake is full of water. The lake is majorly dependent on rains for the water supply. There is no entry fee for visiting the Vijay Mandir Mahal.
