Visit Top 10 Mystic Tourist Destinations in India

1. Cherrapunji

Cherrapunji is located at a distance of 56 kilometer from Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya. The place is a natural abode and is primarily distinguished by very heavy rainfall. As you walk along the road you will feel the clouds look dreamy too. One can see and enjoy the lush green region along with the rustic life.


2. Majuli

Majuli is the largest river island situated on earth and lies amidst the Brahmaputra River. This place has even been declared by UNESCO as a natural heritage site. The island has been very well preserved and even has a few antique utensils, weapons, jewelry and many more items which depict the old Assamese civilization.

3. Udayagiri & Khandagiri Caves

The Udayagiri and Khandagiri caves are located in the state of Odisha. There were the earliest groups of Jain rock-cut shelters. These caves truly depict the era in which emphasis was laid upon the preservation of rock-cut architecture, history art and religion. One can get to know about the origin and development of Jainism by looking at the carvings on the walls in these caves.

4. Tarkarli Beach

The Tarkarli beach is located a few hours away from Mumbai. This is located at a point where the Karli River meets the Arabian Sea. While standing on this beach one can see the Arabian Sea very clearly.  People often indulge in adventurous activities like scuba diving and snorkeling on this beach.

5. Wayanad

Wayanad is located in the Western Ghats and is a very well known tourist attraction of Kerala. The place is quite popular for various crops and spices like pepper, coffee and ginger, etc.

 6. Bhimbetka Rock Shelters

The Bhimbetka Rock Shelters are as old as 30,000 years and these have been declared by UNESCO also as a World Heritage Center. These are rock shelters which demonstrate the existence of human civilization in this part of India

7. Daman & Diu

Daman and Diu is the 2nd smallest Union Territory in the country India. Tone can see a reflection of the Portuguese and the Gujarati lifestyle here. The place is dotted by a number of churches ad forts.

8. Pangong Tso

Pangong Tso is located in Leh and Ladakh. This place is located in an extremely high altitude in the Himalayan Ranges. From this place one can see and taste the salty water of Lake Kumarakom and see how blue the water is.  The place is a very fine blend of land, water and even the clouds.

9. Chitrakoot

The district of Chitrakoot is located in Madhya Pradesh and is believed to be gift of nature from god.  The place is full of many shrines, temples, and even natural wonders.

10. Athirapilly Falls

The Athirapilly waterfalls are located in Kerala. One can simple relax in the lap of Mother Nature here, away from the hustle and bustle of life. These waterfalls are quite scenic and are known for their beauty.
