Where should we go this summer

Hello fellow ,
My family (husband, and 2 teenage daughters) and I are trying to decide where we should go and what we should do this summer for our annual summer holiday. As a starting point, I should tell you that I have enough frequent flyer miles to take us to any North American location (we live in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada) but don`t necessarily have to fly anywhere. Also as background, last year we flew to San Diego, drove to LA etc then to Las Vegas, and flew home from there. My husband was frazzled with the Southern California traffic and is not interested in repeating the experience of driving in a big city.
In past summers, we have driven through the Rocky Mountains from Calgary to Vancouver (loved it), "did" Nova Scotia (loved it), spent a week in Prince Edward Island(loved it), flew into Albuquerque, New Mexico then drove through the desert to the Grand Canyon and flew home from Las Vegas (loved it), did the North shore of Quebec ie from Montreal to Quebec then to Tadoussac (loved it), cruised from New York City to Bermuda (great, except for seasickness on the Atlantic!!).
For this summer, one or more of my family have vetoed: flying into San Francisco and touring it before driving to Las Vegas for an August 23rd goddaughter`s wedding at the Wynn, driving to Boston and seeing the sites enroute, visiting Newfoundland, driving to Toronto and Waterloo and environs, an Alaskan cruise (complaint is we see enough of ice and snow) and taking a cheap all inclusive holiday "off season" in the Caribbean somewhere.
I know this is a tall order, but does anyone have suggestions for us? We want to sightsee, relax, some shopping (especially my 15 yr old), and see something new.
